GLD has had their eyes on a few homes over the years that they wanted to landscape. This was one, even before an extensive, magnificent remodel by David Stark Wilson took this wee house by storm. Envisioning a berm near the frontage to the street to create some separation and privacy, this was part of the design once the Goodmans were invited to come on board. Cascading Mayten trees and Loropetalum were culprits in filtering the view further, while maintaining views for homes across the street. Concrete monoliths, undulating stone walls (echoing Mt. Tamalpais across the bay), large flat stone surfaces and a series of beautiful soft-scape drifts created a garden to flow out to, live in and enjoy.
