We decided a long time ago to keep our company small to be able to maintain attention to detail as we create gardens of lasting beauty. From the initial design process through its implementation, attentive follow-up and seasonal or annual maintenance, we and our talented crew strive to create landscapes at the highest level of artistry and craftsmanship.
Every site presents a unique set of constraints and challenges. They become part of the canvas with which we begin our designs, and can be a great source of inspiration.
GLD enjoys collaborating with architects, general contractors, interior designers, craftspeople, and, of course, homeowners. We bring both a big picture perspective, as well as the finest intimate views, to all the gardens we design and build. Our desire is to build gardens of great beauty that work with the homes they encircle, and, that both look great, and feel good to walk through and be in.
We offer a multitude of services including tasks that fall outside the purview of most landscaping companies. Along with standard garden elements: design, woodwork, stonework, boulder placement, patios, water features, plantings, grading, irrigation, lighting, drainage, etc., we offer paint color consultation, often encompassing architecturally appropriate enhancements and cohesiveness.
