Tim and Lisa bought this fixer in 1998. While many changes were necessitated by dry rot and leaks, they saw it as an opportunity to clarify the architecture, which had a busy array of surface treatments, caught somewhere between Monterey and Colonial. They've redone all the gardens, adding a fountain in the courtyard, a creek and pond in the back, trellises, a zigurrat, designed and had built the new front door, the railings, corbels, posts of the balcony all in milled wood, tile surrounds, etc., and have transformed this wonderfully sited, good boned, award-winning house and its gardens into their oasis, overlooking SF Bay.
