After extensive remodeling this contemporary and grand home was in need of a new entry, driveway, rock walls, deer fencing, and an entire backyard makeover including an existing unappealing brick pool surround, without obscuring the Richmond - San Rafael Bridge and Bay views. The pool area was redone with large boulders carefully embedded in colored concrete seeded with aquarium gravel, replacing the brick with a more modern and interesting feel. An outdoor rock fireplace and barbeque adds warmth and connectedness to the indoor kitchen. The gardens complement the house now, they feel expansive, and they fit in a far more natural context.
